My love of glass, color and light goes to my core; the way that color in glass is transformed by light seems magical. The jewelry I make reflects these passions, and is inspired by my gardens, the ocean, the marshes, and the ever-changing light on Cape Ann. Handmade multi-colored lampworked glass beads with tiny 24 karat gold granules fused into the surface are then etched to a soft satin finish, combined with contemporary fine metal beads and wirework to create classic pieces of understated elegance. The resulting work is very tactile, dimensional, invites touching, and is -above all- very wearable. - Beth Williams
