A quick note about seARTS, aka "Why we do this show": Since its founding in 2000, seARTS has had a direct impact on the lives of artists of all genres and the artistic fabric of the Cape Ann community. Through its innovative programs, collaboration with other arts organizations, and high profile events they continue fund local artists. The Celebrate Wearable Art (CWA) segment alone has created over $100,000 in sales since the group's first show in 2007. In 2013, at CWAII, seARTS sold as much in one hour as a typical show will sell in 2-3 days and provided ongoing exposure to artists through its strong relationships with the media and arts organizations - much of which single working artists cannot recreate on their own.
